Going on a road trip in about a month. This is not exact but basically Winnipeg -> Minneapolis -> Chicago -> Detroit -> Toronto (and back). Decent probability it will be in the Niva.

Where should I stop?

I didn’t make it too far down, as soon as I saw Kingston I came down here. Wouldn’t miss the chance to meet another opponaut. And I can say that there are a couple sights to see in Kingston if you are so inclined. Fort Henry, try and get into a Sunset Ceremony, there’s the old Military Communications museum, despite the name they have some old vehicles and even some original plaster models of the carvings on the Vimy Memorial.

Also, I mentioned to some one earlier, if you pass through Hamilton at any point you have to visit the Warbird Museum there.

They have a flying Lancaster. They even give rides!

Also, now that I’ve read all the way down, feel free to visit. I’ll probably have both my SHO and possibly G Body Mans Cutlass mobile.

My father has a few neat old cars too.

People keep telling me I need to see the warbird museum. It sounds like an awesome place, may have to deviate. I'll see about stoping by in Kingston, too.

I have a Lada Niva. I have various pieces of advice for you. In the USA, these cars do not exist so here is some pointers.

Anything fuel injection should be available if you find a store willing to try to find the match from the early 90s GM stash.

YOU MUST HAVE BRAKE CALIPER REBUILD KITS! The rubber is junk and will fail frequently.

You must ensure that all brake parts are ok, there no rotors anywhere in Canada. I mean NOWHERE. You have been warned.

Anymore questions, please reply.

Got things handled. Been dailying my Niva for over a year now. Thanks, though.

Where are you located? Anywhere close to my projected route?

Kingston, MI? Google can’t find me a Kingstona, but Kingston’s not a very big detour.
